"If I died young... That's something I wish to prevent" he meowed to himself.
The white grey Tom looked around camp ensuring nobody was in trouble. His heavenly blue gaze rested on one of the queens that lay in the clearing. He smiled softly, trying to catch her eyes. He got up to his black padded paws and lay beside her.
"Nice to meet you. I'm cloudrunner. You are?" He purred smiling.

Fadingechos had been minding her own business, keeping out of the higher ranks, including Warriors way. One came and layed by her, which surprised her a bit but she held her ground. "Hello, I am Fadingechos, nice to meet you Cloudrunner." She mewed nuzzling him in greeting. [/center] |

Cloudrunner smiled softly and nuzzled her back. He had always thought queens were nice and polite. This had just proved him right!
"Fadingechoes. How beautiful" he purred, "Would you care to go for a walk?"
Cloudrunner looked uncertain like he didn't know wether to stand up to leave or to stay to talk some. He flicked his tail and curled it around his back legs. He scooted over a tad to make sure he wasn't crowding the she-cat. A she-cat needs her space, it was something his sister Coyotehowl had taught him once.

Fadingechos felt slightly flattered by his words, he was nice as it seemed. And he obviously had good taste.
"A walk would be nice, where to? The stream by the MoonClan border?" She suggested when he moved further from her. She was wondering if he hadn't meant what he had said earlier. Shrugging it off she stood up and flicked her tail to go.
She climbed gracefully out of the volcano and coughed up some smoke. Gasping for fresh air she layed down and tried to take deep breaths but kept coughing. Finally she caught her breath and she smiled at Cloudrunner nervously. "Shall we go?" She purred with a smile. [/center] |

Cloudrunner smiled and nodded. He slowly got to his paws and padded shoulder to shoulder with Fadingechoes. When she started a cough attack and lay down he crouched beside her, nervousness showing in his eyes. Cloud put a paw on her back and rubbed trying to clear her windpipe.
"We shall, but are you alright?" He asked.

"Yes I am alright thanks for asking." She purred smiling. She padded next to him their pelts brushing, maybe she liked him a little, but there was a good chance those feelings were false. She wasn't going to fall in love without getting to know the tom well, even if he was as handsome and charming as Cloudrunner seemed. [/center] |

"Well that's good" he purred back.
When his pelt brushed hers it felt like a blast of cool air. He turned and smiled at her. He walked forward and slowly walked his way towards the stream. Was this the feeling of love? Or just mixed feelings?
"Tell me about yourself." He meowed matching her pace.

"Myself? Okay, I was born and raised in AshClan, I have no living relatives and I am currently single." She purred with a smile. Yep, she liked him alright, otherwise those last words would have never come out. She stopped at the stream and gulped a few drinks before splashing Cloudrunner. "Got you!" She purred when she saw water drip from his pelt. [/center] |

Cloudrunner walked along with her and listened. When she said she was singled, his ears perked. They reached the stream quickly and he slowly and nervously dipped his head to tak a drink and got splashed with water. He shook his head and took a few steps from the rivers edge on dancing toes.
"Haha yea you got me..." He trailed off for a second, "I've got some relatives. Fawnstar is my father. Hawkbreeze my grandfather. Skywing my uncle. Raccoontalon and Coyotehowl my siblings. Uhm, I have no kits. I'm single. And I was born right here on this border. Raised in Ashclan. My mother, Moonlight, after raising us some, she took us here and met a queen, Sunnyriver. When she was walking along the shoreline a wave came up and took her. I don't think she's alive anymore. And yea.. But I'm single and afraid of the river."
He gave a soft chuckle and wairily eyed the river. It wasn't a surprise why he hung around the top of the volcano all the time. He was too scared to go down and be near the river.

Oh he was single as well. That was, err it was nice, she tried to tell herself when inside she felt it was great. But it was too soon to tell him her feelings because, well, he probably felt different.
"Sorry, I have no clue who my father is, I am afraid of monsters, drowning, and death. I am afraid of death because frankly I have had all of my family die, besides maybe my father." She mewed before stepping away from the river and padding more toward Cloudrunner.
"But I'm mostly afraid of falling in love because I don't want to get my heart broken." She mewed stepping away from him and back toward the volcano, she had gotten her drink and was ready to walk back with him, this time the long way. Maybe they could get to know each other better, then maybe she would tell him. [/center] |

"Death is hard. But loving is harder yet. I know what you mean. My father isn't exactly the best either. Let's go check all the borders, I think we might learn something" he meowed nodding.
Cloudrunner walked towards the moonclan border and cleared hi throat.
"Maybe you and I could...? No it sounds stupid." He meowed then mumbled under his breath.
