With a walk in mind, perhaps Cricketbounce has wandered too far than she had expected. She had a yearning in her soul, she was a queen without kits. She was a queen without a clan, in fact. Currently with only her and Fawnstar to speak of, Cricketbounce had been helping out with hunting and border patrols whenever she could. Despite that, she barely knew her leader at all, and hoped to get to know him further at some point.
Now she was out in the territory, having hunted down two birds that had been buried for collection later and nothing else to do. Instead leaping onto a pallid grey stone beside a small stream, the queen lay herself down and let her eyes drift shut for a quiet sun.

Fawnstar trotted into the clan camp and scented his only queen leaving. He followed the path of the river taking a swim on the way. He caught a trout and climbed back out. Fawnstar padded back through the reeds and followed the scent to where his queen was laying.
"Greetings Cricketbounce." Fawnstar meowed laying beside the queen.

Cricketbounce's green eyes slid open as she felt someone settle down beside her. Raising her head, the queen blinked a welcome to the tom, her leader who had appeared from nowhere. "Fawnstar." she purred warmly as a greeting, nodding her head respectfully.
Pulling her tail up, the dappled black she-cat slid to the side slightly, aiming to give the bigger tom some more room. "What brings you out here?"

Fawnstar nodded back and gave a none to familiar smile. He noticed when she moved over to give him a little more room, but really Fawnstar wasn't that big. He gave her a joking yet stern look.
"Just making sure my queens are doing alright. Would you care to go for a swim?" He asked laying his tail on the queens back.
The leopardstar colored tom stood up and licked the patch of fur sticking out on his chest with his black & pink colored tongue and quietly admired the beautiful pelted queen.

She grinned in reply to the tom's stern look, understanding that he wasn't showing that he was upset with her. Breathing out a pleased sigh, she nodded her head. "A swim sounds lovely." She purred, shifting slightly as she felt his tail along her back. She didn't understand why the leader had put it there.
Glancing over at his somewhat damp pelt, Cricketbounce smiled. "It seems you beat me to it, and had a swim or your own already." she noted with a laugh, standing up and stretching before waiting for Fawnstar to move.

"Well good. And yes, but i had some earth left on my pelt from my dig. I caught a trout too." He meowed nudging his trout.
Fawnstar slowly walked towards the river where he knew that the river made a small pool and was nice and warm.

"Congratulations," she purred warmly, swishing her feathered tail along the ground as she followed him. "I've caught two birds yet, but I haven't been out for too long." she explained, nodding pertly to enunciate her answer.
"It's been a while since I've been swimming."

Fawnstar managed to keep walking straight without falling head over heels on the mushy terrain, and possibly the fact that he was walking with the most beautiful queen he'd ever known.
"Well i may just have to give you a little toss." He teased. "Come now my beautiful. Let's go relax some."
Fawnstar put his paws in the lukewarm water and purred. This was the warmest the pond had ever been. He nudged the queen with his tail and waited for her to come swim with him.

Cricketbounce snorted slightly at the title and pushed the tom in a jesting manner. "Beautiful? You're in quite a mood today," she laughed, padding forward ahead of him in her eagerness to reach the water.
Tapping her paws gently on the surface, Cricketbounce purred then pushed in deeper with a content sigh. The water was warm and comfortable, even with her long fur being such a pain when she swam. Jumping forward, she aimed to land on Fawnstar, pushing his head under.

"But there is no one that compairs to you." He purred.
He watched Cricketbounce jump in and he pushed off the bank after her. He felt Cricketbounce punce on him pushing his head under. Instinctly he crouched down and pushed off spiraling through the water. He got up to take a breath and swam back to shore
