Life hadn't always been easy for Fadingechos, she had lost both of her parents and her two siblings. Her parents had died from a badger attack on the territory, and one sibling died from greencough and the other from monsters on the thunderpath. Sighing she left the Nursery to watch the sunset. Finding a boulder she watched the sun slowly sink beyond the horizon. The sky was a blaze of orange and red where the sun was but it faded to pink, then purple, then shades of blue and black. Only a few stars winked above her, her family was someone in the beyond galaxy and she wouldn't see them until she died, and she was only 17 moons old. She had a whole life ahead of her.
She heard a crunching of paws meeting ashes and dust behind her, turning she spotted a figure. "Hello." She mewed once she caught the scent of AshClan. Turning back to the scenery she realized the whole sky was now pink and purple. A little glow of orange was fading. It was Twilight now, on of her favorite times of day, other than the sunrise and the sunset. "How's it going?" She decided to say after sitting there uncomfortably for a couple of minutes. Timberstar was out of his den, strolling around the caves when he came upon Fadingechoes. "Hello, I'm doing fine. How about you?" he asked. He gave her a small smile. "How about we go out where there is more light?" he asked.

Ah so it was her leader, Timberstar who was sneaking up on her? There would be moonlight coming out soon but it didn't normally show that well because the little smoke that came from the volcano stopped it's light from showing. "Sounds good, you lead the way." She mewed, out of every cat in the Clan the most trusted was the leader, so she felt comfortable around him and that was fine. [/center] |

He nodded and started walking to the an enterence, when he came upon one he climbed down the mountain until he came across the ground and turned to see if she was following.

Fadingechos followed behind him, his tail was a few fox-lengths from her nose. She climbed up some boulders and stopped when he stopped. The moon was coming out and there was already some light showing in the sky. "This is better, want to keep going a bit more though?" She mewed. [/center] |

He nodded and kept walking until he came to the very bottom where there were trees ahead. He gave her a playful look. "Race you!" he mewed before dashing off into the woods. He would easily win, since she was a queen and stayed in the nursery.

Fadingechos had no idea where they were heading to but she raced after him, she was pretty fast but her legs were't used to running, she walked most of the time so this was a new change that she sorta liked. "Where are we going?" She shouted to Timberstar who was 3 or 4 fox-lengths ahead of her. [/center] |

He ignored her, but not in a mean way. He stopped when he came across a big oak. He turned to get. "Beat you!" he mewed.

He though for a moment and than nodded. He walked through some bushes until he saw the river. "Here it is." he mewed.

Smiling she padded toward the river, she stopped by Timberstar ad licked his cheek happily. "Thanks for the fun race!" She purred before padding toward the river and lapping a few mouthfuls. Sighing she plopped over on her side next to the river. [/center] |

He gave a nod in reply. He soon got a devious smile. He walked over, and pushed her into the river and jumped in after her.

Gasping she went under the icy-cold water, it felt good but she was not a good swimmer at all. Trying to keep her head afloat she paddled hard, findl getting the gang of it and getting to a section where she could touch she splashed Timberstar. "Jerk!" She purred with a smile before tackling underwater. Maybe she was an unknown natural at swimming? Or she just got lucky by learning so fast. [/center] |

He purred. "Oh well!" he mewed and splashed her back before getting out. He shook out his fur and turned to her.
