The black queen padded her way through the territory. The sun shinning in through trees warmed her pelt. With her clan being so small, only consisting of herself, her leader, Mockingbird and Cricketbounce, there was a lot to be done. She and the other queen had been helping out with border patrols and hunting, the tuxedo cat needed to but her mind at ease. Her tail swayed back and forth behind her slowly as she made her way down to the river. Her ears twitched when she could hear the water flowing carelessly down the river. She purred to herself and quickened her walk to a trot. As the water appeared before her eyes, the she-cat slowed down and stopped at the edge of the river. She sat down on her hind paws and softly curled her tail around her. She closed her eyes and listen to the life all around her. A small smile formed on this cat's face as she relaxed every muscle in her body. |

Mockingbird was relaxing on a large rock, its cool surface soothing on this warm day. Her eyes were closed, and she purred softly, almost as if she was sleeping. Her ears pricked up as the scent of another cat hit her nose. She recognized the scent of one of the queens, Midnightgaze. She opened her eyes, stifling a yawn. Right now she just wanted to observe and see what exactly the other cat was doing. Nothing too spectacular; Midnightgaze seemed to just be enjoying the day, just like Mockingbird. Mockingbird jumped from her rock, her tail waving in the air. "Hi there," she greeted the queen, her tone light and friendly. "Beautiful day, huh?" Mockingbird seated herself next to the queen, not too close but close enough. She looked down into the water, watching some tiny fish swim around in the shallow part of the water. |

[Making short because im lazy]
Fawnstar sat burried in the reeds. He saw his queen Midnightgaze, and medicine cat Mockingbird. He couldn't wait to surprise them.
"Everyday is beautiful. Of course." He purred, jumping into the stream with a soft and quiet dive.
When he resurfaced he splashed water towards the tuxedo queen and splattered water on the side of the rock Mockingbird was laying on. He smiled softly and climbed out of the water. The water ran off of his slick pelt that covered his thick muscled build.
"Hunting is good. No?" He asked, flicking water off of his ears.

Midnightgaze ears pricked as she heard the voice of the Medicine Cat. She opened her green eyes to see the cat laying on a rock not too far away. She seemed to be out here, enjoying the peaceful day like the queen came here to do. "Hello Mockingbird." She purred. "It is beautiful." The black and white was about to add onto what she said when a cold shock of water hit her chest. She jumped a little and looked out to the water to see her leader climbing out. She smiled and purred, happy to see the leader in such a good playful mood. "Greetings Fawnstar. Hunting is well, it's good to see the river so full of pray." She meowed. "How are you both?" She asked the two cats. |

Mockingbird reared back on her hind paws to avoid the cold water, laughing at her leader's playfulness. She was happy to see that her clanmates were in a good mood. She let out a purr and replied,"If you mean herbs, then yes hunting has been good," She dropped back onto all fours, arching her back in a luxurious stretch. She then laid down on the rock, stretching her body out on its now-warm surface. She meowed in response to the queen,"I've been doing fantastic. Nobody's gotten hurt or sick, so it's a load off my back." She let out a content yawn. |

"I'm doing quite alright. I shall be making a trip to Moonclan soon. I may need someone to go with me though. I think that Owlfeather is a tad hostile" he purred.
Fawnstar sat down and licked his chest until the water had come off. Then he began to lick some of the hair on the base of his tail where a huge spot had appeared. He turned his pale blue gaze towards the medicine cat, what a dear. She has no apprentice.
"Mockingbird, aren't you worried about not having an apprentice? Not that your bad as a medicine cat I just wonder and..." He tried to finish hastily.
Fawnstar looked at the tuxedo queen and gave her a one of a kind Fawnstar smile. He wished to reassure her that he hasn't forgotten about his queens. Or his brother at that point.

Midnightgaze laughed as well. It was nice to just talk and relax. She didn't have to worry about anything, or if kits were alright. Even though, life was perfect know, she wouldn't mind a few kits in the clan. They always brightened her spirits. They were just the cutest little things. She purred warmly, hearing that they both were fine. "That's good to hear." Her ear flicked as she heard her leader say that he was going to go to MoonClan. "If you don't mind me asking, but why must you go over to MoonClan?" Her voice full of curiosity. The black she-cat smiled warmly back at the tom. [/color] |

"Oh to steal a few kits or a queen. Kidding. I would never do that. I have to go over there so I can make sure everybody is alright. I heard they've got a few new members. And that Owlfeather is holding up. It sounds pretty lonely over there." He meowed resting his tail on her shoulders.
Fawnstar saw the longing in his queens eyes. He something the would make her better but yet, he didn't want to force her into doing anything rash.
" you see, our deputy has gone astray. I've seen him drifting towards Moonclan often. And every time he comes back smelling like them. I know he has betrayed us. It doesn't take a genius to see he's in love" he meowed, looking at the queen.

Her eyes widened a bit, but then she relaxed and smiled when the leader was joking about stealing cats from MoonClan. "Well, that is nice of you to make sure that they are alright." The tuxedo cat's smile faded slowly as he gave her and Mockingbird the news of their deputy. "Oh, that's not too good of news. Are you going to confront him about it?" She asked, feeling bad that Lynxfang betrayed his clan and leader, his own brother. [/color] |

"I will eventually. I guess I should do that first. Huh?" He meowed giving her a lick on the cheek.
He looked at the silent medicine cat and frowned. Was it something he had said or done? Fawnstar leaned over and whispered 'meet me later at the edge of Ashclan territory. We must talk' to Midnightgaze.
" I'd best be going. I have a meeting with Lynxfang." He meowed sollomnly.
He got up and walked along the river edge. He dived in and swam back to camp snagging a few fish to throw on the pile.

Mockingbird's ears twitched at her leader's question about the apprentice. Personally she wouldn't mind having an apprentice at all. It'd be fun to train the little cat to be a smart, caring Medicine Cat. But she remained silent as he mention their deputy's betrayal. Her claws scraped against the rock and a slight anger began to boil up inside her. "Who does he think he is?" she hissed mostly to herself. She couldn't believe a cat would break the Warrior Code like that. Yeah, she was friendly towards all of the clans, but she wouldn't fall in love with a cat from another clan. She let out a sigh, now feeling a bit sad. It kind of hurt that Lynxfang would do something like this, plus she felt a little bad for Fawnstar. Being betrayed by your own kin must not feel so great.
She waved her tail at Fawnstar, back to her happy self as he said goodbye. "Good luck, Fawnstar!" she called. She then turned her attention to Midnightgaze, a sly look coming across her face. She purred smoothly,"Ohhh, what do we have here? Do you two have something going on?" She had noticed the lick on the cheek Fawnstar had given her, and the whisper in her ear. Perhaps some kits would soon be along the way? Hopefully so. |

The queen nodded her head, agreeing that he should go talk to him. Her eyes widened a little as she felt a soft tongue swipe across her cheek. Her ear twitched a little as she received the whispering words from her leader. She slowly nodded her head and watched him pad off. "Yes, good luck with Lynxfang." She said and glanced back over at Mockingbird. "What? No.." She shook her head and glanced back in the direction that the tom had gone and then back at the she-cat. "Do you think? No.." Midnightgaze's head was spinning around, not knowing what to think or do. |

(Please fix your posts talking about Lynxfang because nobody knows, and he normally only talks to her at gatherings, I have made that one thread because he couldn't talk to her at the gathering. XD )

(Then why is he telling everyone that Lynx betrayed his Clan is seeing he was in love and such
"I know he has betrayed us. It doesn't take a genius to see he's in love", I thought it was just a thought, sorry for the confusion though.
