Pinebreeze limped out of her den, this time nothing hanging from her jaws. The brown and white tabby walked towards the nursery, flicking her tail. The clan didn't have any kets at the moment, but that didn't stop the tabby and white from checking up on the queens. Sometimes, you will never know that you are expecting kits, but Pinebreeze, since she was a medicine cat, knew exactly if you were or not. Pushing in, she looked around.
"Hello? Queens?"

Fadingechos had been resting in her nest when a brown tabby head poke into the Nursery "Hello? Queens?" [/b] It mewed. She was a queen, so sitting up she padded over to her Medicine Cat. "Greetings Pinebreeze, what brings you to the Nursery?" She mewed with a sweet voice, it was her duty, and she didn't have to try very hard, to be nice to everyone.[/color][/center] |

Pinebreeze bowed her head to Fadingechoes, her tail flicking.
"I am here just to give you a simple checkup. Nothing big. Just finding out which queens are getting ready to kit and which are not."
Pinebreeze sat down, motioning for Fadingechoes to lay do so she could proceed with the checkup.

"I don't think I am but you are the Medicine Cat..." Fadingechos mewed before laying down, her skinny belly face the Medicine Cat, Fading barely ate enough, normally she was too busy to worry about those kind of things. [/center] |

From the looks, it was obvious this cat didn't have kits. But, this worried Pinebreeze. Tilting her head, her eyes narrowed, she glanced at the queen.
"Have you been eating?"

"Sometimes, not enough as I need to, but I feel fine." She mewed hoping the Medicine Cats worried look would disappear, but it didn't. Sitting up she sighed. "Let me guess, I need to eat more or when I am expecting the kits wont be healthy?" He mewed. [/center] |

Giving a tiny shrug, the she-cat stood, nodding.
"I could use a bit of food. I will follow."

Fadingechos bounded out of the Nursery and picked out a plump mouse before padding back to the Nursery entrance, she stopped right outside of it and munched on the mouse, it was warm and tasted good. [/center] |

Pinebreeze limped as fast as she could to the pile, grabbing a small squirrel before limping back, dropping it.
"I am eating a little bit of the squirrel. You must eat the rest."
She had said that in a teasing voice, but she really meant it. Eat every bit.

Pinebreeze rolled her eyes. The queen was skinnier than herself. She was basically a walking stick!
"Then, do you mind if I use you for medical reasons? I mean, you are basically a stick."
